1. Who we are
House of Mammas is a trading name of Carmela Saccomanno, a sole trader. We are the "data controller" for your personal data. Business address: 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Contact details: your name and email address, for example when you download a free guide, join our newsletter or buy something.
- About your baby: your baby's age or date of birth, if you choose to share it, so we can send you the most relevant content.
- Purchase details: what you bought and your billing details. Card payments are handled by our payment providers; we never see your full card number.
- 1:1 services: the information you share in questionnaires and calls about your baby's sleep, routines and health, and your family's situation.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or on Instagram.
- Website use: basic technical data and cookies used by our website platform to make the site work and to understand how it is used.
3. How and why we use it
- To deliver what you bought, give you access to courses and guides, and provide 1:1 services (to perform our contract with you).
- To send you free guides, sleep tips and news about our products, if you sign up (with your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email).
- To reply to your messages and support you (our legitimate interest in running our business).
- To keep financial and tax records (legal obligation).
- Health information about your baby, shared for 1:1 services, is "special category" data. We only use it to prepare your plan and support you, and only with your explicit consent.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with trusted providers who help us run our business, such as Kajabi (website, courses and email), Kajabi Payments and Stripe (payments), and our email and video-call providers. Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. When that happens, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US Data Bridge.
5. How long we keep it
- Newsletter and free guide data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Purchase and financial records: up to 6 years, as required for tax purposes.
- 1:1 questionnaires and notes: up to 2 years after your service ends, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work (for example, to keep you logged in to your course) and, where you agree, cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. See also our Terms & Conditions.
